The King and I!

Well, I finally have something special to share with my fellow friends down south. I know alot of you have contacted me asking how the hunt here on Island X has gone. I still have one more morning to hunt and all I have left is 1 more longtail. We flew in Thursday night and hit the "mother load" on our 1st morning hunt. We witnessed over 800 King Eider drakes fly by our ocean front blind.....something words can not describe! After some "King Eider Fever" we finally settled in and started to drop the Kings. It took 45 mintues for my father, Logan, and I too fill our 3 drake limit. The guides even got in on the action. They say it was the single most birds they have witnessed and harvested in 1 day!!! I can't say enough about this hunt up here with these guys!!!! I will provide many more pics once I get home to the lower 48!
Thanks for looking. Oh yeah...I had a mature drake Stellars Eider I could have killed today....it was beautiful!
