Here are some of the best of 2008 season pictures. http://www.deansoutdoors.com/photos2008.html
We had a great year. Even Charles Snapp, Rod Haydell and crew were able to kill a few birds with their shooting skills I guess I shouldn't be too hard on them they saw me miss a few myself. We were able to get quite a few of the kids out this year with their dads. It is good to see and I feel good about making special pricing for the oportunity to give back to the sport and train a few of our future duck hunters. I am looking foreward to next year and we have been making some new permanent blinds for next year that will be outstanding gunning along with great as always field shoots.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

We got 2 goose bands this year and probably a dozen duck bands. We don't get many bands up here in Alberta for some reason. We shot 70 cases of shells this year though. Does that count for something:)

There are not too many openings left for this nest year but last I checked there was one close to the opening of the season that a guy gave up after 18 years with us. I guess he got tired of the easy birds and wanted to try closer to the end of the season and see the tornados of ducks buzzing around. :):)
Glad you guys like the pictures guys.
We are just getting into hunting divers this past year and have some good afternoon diver hunts in the afternoons and can get 3 shoots in a day which is an added bonus for the hunters. I am still learning how to hunt them and they seem hard to hunt still with the layout boats I bought but my best spot is an island that I dug some pits in and in a 2 hour period guys are whacking 4-6 ducks a piece whih isn't too bad for an afternoon shoot. Mostly Red heads , widgeon, mallards, pintails, bluebill and a few canvasbacks. Even get some of those nastly big flocks of Shovelors in the later part of the season.
