For about 3 weeks now, there have been 4 tundra swans hanging out at my blind, 2 juvies and 2 adults...i tried to get some pics of them, and only really got one good on. Pretty cool stuff!

One morning we had 5 of them land within 10 feet of the boat. they are one bird I wouldnt care to shoot. Awesome pic!

Heard of two today just south of the River by the Overton exit. Nice to have them around.

I on the other hand have no problem shooting them ;) No different than shooting geese or any other waterfowl. There are much prettier ducks out there that you harvest, so I'm not sure why people have a hard time swallowing shooting them.

Saw a pair just west of Kearney last week. Those birds are awesome.
As far as that mount, Sorry but that thing is ugly ! Those birds are way better looking than that. Somebody didnt do that thing justice.

To each their own. How many have you killed?
Everyone has their own perception of a quality mount. I don't think it is in the top 1% of mount jobs but probably the top 10%.
