I ordered 4 Pro grade harvester packs and they came with no bags.
The cost doesn't reflect not coming with the bag. By the time you buy bags you might as well buy FFDs. When did Avery decide to cheapin' the Pro Packs?
That's quite a dissappointment !

The only Pro Grade Harvester Pack goose decoys that came with a 6 slot bag were the Life-Size Canada Floaters, I think that was just limited time only. Unless he is talking about the Fullbody Mallard Harvester Pack?

DrewR, That is exactly where they came from, they used to have the bags with them. That is what I thought I was getting.
Right now I can get the Harvester pack at Gander Mnt. For $10 more with the bags complete. That is how I have always known the pro grades to be.
So if you order them from Macks or maybe anywhere else now, Beware of this, double check,.

Only the FFDs have ever come with a bag. We did LS Canada and Speck floater harvester packs this year that came with a bag as well.

The PG full body geese have never come with bags. There may be some dealers that combo them up themselves, but it is not directly from us.

Waterfowl Freak, That is the way every Pro Harvester pack was I have ever bought.
It must be Sportsmans and Gander Mnt. have theirs specially packaged by Avery with the bags for the same price? After reading another post I see even FFDs are sometimes sold without bags!
This is a bought jury, I LOL evey time I read one of their hunts.
Even their guns can't be carried in anyone else's gun case.
Avery gun cases and clothes help them kill geese!!!! HAHAHA!

This could be settled if the ads would say they did or did not come with bags? I think this is a catch 22. Some times things are not what they seem to be. Or are they trying to miss lead you. We all have a lot of money in our stuff, to hunt for such a short time a year. With things the way they are today just a little honest would go a long way? Every body is looking for more bang for your dollar now days!! I know i am.

If you guys have a Macks catalog, go to page 17, bottom right.
Big bold red letters Save $40! ( equal to cost of bag?) Also has a picture of the bag in the description!
At $179.99 for 6, If you don't get the bag! Where did you save $40!
That seems quite deceptive to me.

you guys are acting like a bunch of little kids right now, i mean seriously, i too have never seen a pro-grade harvester pack with a bag, i dont think it would be a bad idea to include it but if you really want it to come with a bag, get ffds, if you bag pro-grades, its like 10 dollars less than if you just bought ffds, and as far as i know, macks always sells all their decoys without bags which is kind of frustrating(ffds or not)

just my .02 cents

I saw the ad you are referring to, it states clearly that the FFD's are the only Harvester pack to come with bags. If you read the ad you would have seen this. This is typical retail advertisement. I work for a huge outdoor retailer and we have "Sale" and "As Advertised" signs. 95% of the customers that walk through our doors are expecting a sale when they see our ads in the local papers. The "As Advertised" signs are not stating a sale, and not mis-leading. The Ad is clearly showing a featured product we carry for a great price. Where this come into play with the Mack's ad and the bold red "Save $40" Its a flag that you should read the ad fully to see where you save the $40.

The ad is clearly written.

It sounds like each retailer can do what it wants to do when selling decoys.

They can put bags in Pro Grade packages or take them out of FFD' packages. Whatever they want to do is up to them.

I quess thats the same as the golf business. We can sell a Titleist driver for $200 bucks even if the company says we should sell it at $300. Of course, they have rules which you must pay attention too but its the same thing with Avery and its retailers. It isn't Avery's fault.

Seems to me that you should call Mack's and voice your concern over your order with them not the company who manufactured the product. If Mack's ad was misleading, give them a call. I am sure they can help you in some way due to the confusion. Avery really doesn't have anything to do with the issue other than they sold the decoys to Mack's....
