Hey everyone. I was just wondering what the main difference there is between the pro-grades and the hunter series. They both look good. Is there any difference in performance? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Apparently its the paint/molding scheme.
I like the hunters just as much. The difference is slight,
but so is the price.

Aside from the paint scheme, the hunters series do not come with ring bases.

Ryan is correct, the only difference is that the Hunter Series do not come with the Real Motion Bases whereas the Pro Grade series do. The Pro Grade series have a higher detailed paint scheme as well.

is there any word if the paint scheme is going to be changed for this season??

You also cannot get the Rester and Sleeper Fulbody Geese in the Hunter Series line.

The Hunter Series are great decoys, but the Pro Grades are a more detailed paint job. Both work great in the field, but if you are hunting frozen ground in late season, you should probably look at the Pro Grades that come with the ring bases as well.

Like I mentioned in another thread, I pretty sure that the Pro-Grades have the same paint scheme as the FFD's. They both kill geese as I've hunted multiple times over both. I believe you'll be pleased with either decoy.

I also believe the Pro Grades have the same paint scheme as the FFD's and more detailed then the Hunter series. All three great looking decoys.

If you are leaning towards the Pro Grades, I would take a look and do the math on FFD's. If you plan on using six slot bags, the cost for FFD's are not that much more when you figure in the bag.
