Just wondering what your guys' favorite floaters were.
Mine have to be the GHG "hot buy" mallards great decoys for a great price i have bought a dozen for the last two years

I can't say I've got any complaints with the new hot buys, they have stood up to being thrown around, slammed around, look good and are inexpensive.
G&H can stand up to anything as well, but they get beat badly in price, and even when I look at them, it isn't hard to tell they are a decoy.
I didn't see where postures helped or made a difference at all on ducks.

This spread is 4 butts, 8 headless feeders, and 4 sleepers. At times we ran just these for ducks, and at times I just had my hot buys out, ducks just don't seem to care. That completely relaxed, confident scheme didn't seem to finish birds any closer or more confidently, ducks just don't seem to care.
So I don't see the need to pull away from the hot buys.

LS Mallard Sleepers are by far my favorite duck decoy.

As of right now, Real Image...they are the most realistic decoys and love hunting over them.

I have a doz of each of G&H Mag mallards and GHG LS Mallards along with some GHG Feeders and Sleeper floaters.
The G&H have worn like iron but dont look near as good as the GHG do. I do like the swivel heads on the G&H but over all the GHG have a few different looks as well.

We don't hunt park ducks much but when we do it is a hodge podge of everything from 20 year old Carry Lite's, GHG, G&H etc...
We mostly gun big water ducks and Toledo's are the favorite.

Best floaters?
Anything that my buddy's use that I can hunt over and I don't have to keep clean and store.

The GHG oversized mallards and field mallards are the best decoys made but the hot buys are great. I own three dozen of them myself. I also have one dozen of the life sized weigon GHG decoys.

Favorite floaters, by far are the GHG over-size blacks after about two seasons of wear.

Featherlites by Cherokee and G & H swivel heads.
With the new Fusion out I like them better than ever.
