the other night i was looking back at the old posts here in the forum. hell i went back to 2003. (i know i know, get a life lol in my defense it was late and everyone had gone to bed :P) But anyway, i was seeing all the post by Tom, how excited he was when Freddy would carve a new decoy or one of the other carvers (Dick Rhodes etc) and he would post what it looked like in "raw" form and all the stages all the way through. Tom was (i am sure he still is) always passionate about Avery. There were some pretty heated discussions going on and it was always entertaining.
I have not seen Tom post in a long time, nor have i seen Fred post in a long time. I guess what i am saying is, it was great when he or anyone else was sharing what avery was going to do, get opions from people and then show a product coming along and then the final piece right before it would get molded...i miss seeing all that and it was always cool to know that the mb was going to be the first public place for anyone to see new creations by avery. will this ever be done again? did someone ban tom from the mb? lol i know he is trying to run a company and i know fred is also but it would sure be nice to see them on here again...
