I need some input from you guys. Me and a couple of guys are looking at purchasing some property for a hunting club in the Delta. We have hunted there for several years, and are looking at a more permanent arrangement. I have some questions.
1. Ownership - How is the ownership set up? We are going to do an LLC for sure, but we are thinking of having owners and folks that just lease.
2. Leases - How are the leases structured. We are thinking that there will be 3 owners of the club (and property). We will have 3-5 others that will lease from us. Further we are thinking that we will have some folks that lease ground, and others that lease the lodge and grounds.
3. Day leases - Do you do these? Why or why not?
Any other input would be appreciated.
