What happened to my post about the 5/8ths Canada decoys? Still trying to figure out if they are coming this year or not. I can't seem to get a straight answer and I don't understand what's so hard about it. So if need be, one of you Head Honchos that runs this joint can just PM me.

Last I heard the5/8 or TnT Canadas were not coming out this year. Instead it is the life size Canada shells that are coming out this year. There was a post by an Avery staffer back this winter that said they were but apparently not. There may have been on misunderstanding between which was coming out this year, the life-size shells or 5/8 shells.

I think the Avery guy that told you Macks already had them was so wrong Avery had to delete the thread to save face.
I couldn't see any other reason for them to delete it from what I read. But I guess maybe something else happened.
From what I remember, the 5/8 T&T style Canadas weren't going to be out this year.

Thanks for the honesty. Glad to get to the bottom of this.

they will never come out...what would the market be for a full body when a 5/8 shell looks just like a fullbody from a birds eye view? :D

I would probably still buy fullbodies cause I get so damn tired of putting that stupid little stick in that stupid smaller hole, man that drives me wild if I set up three I am mad already I can't imagine 3 dozen or 300 like all the lesser guys will be running. It'd be an interesting study to see how they'd do and to see how the 5/8ths snows do against the fullbodies.

I agree that putting the stakes in the 5/8 snows can be a royal pain in the butt, but the 5/8 for me are better in more ways than one. I can purchase more with less money, can fit more in a smaller space (storage unit in the off season / or the bed of my truck during the season) and if I wanna take them out into the marsh with me I can get twice as many 5/8's in my boat as I'd be able to get fullbodies.

There are new Life-Sized Pro-grade Canada shells and FFD L/S Canada shells this year. I'm pretty sure they're just regular shells and not 5/8ths.

Travis Mueller said in the link that I provided they are NOT coming out with these decoys this year, If you search for 5/8 canadas you should be able to find the thread where it talks about them unless they deleted that also.
