Is there any particular reason they don't carry GHG decoys?

Probably because they have there own line up of Red Head decoys. Which are not that great. If they did sell them right next to each other people would buy Green Head over Red Head any day.

i try not to spend money with BP just for that reason unless i absolutely have to....

i asked the same question to a guy who worked there this last winter, and he told me that red head had got in a lot of trouble of copying some ghg decoys. they had them at one time, so i asked him why they didnt anymore, he told me it was too bad i did not come after the little ordeal because he said they were practically giving away anything they had from ghg

Alrighty then, I just have an uncle who is a general manager and I was hoping for a discount on decoys, but not the crap on there shelves/site.

yea it is unfortunate. i got a ton of gift cards there for Christmas, and it took me forever to spend it because they had nothing i really was looking for

I wouldnt stop spending my money there just because of that, there alot of things behind the scene we dont see. we have a couple dozen of the red head shell goose decoys, they works fine and have held up pretty good for the price. but now i know why BPS doesnt carry any Avery products.

my problem with basspro is that NONE of their employees know a damn thing about hunting...when i go to buy something i want to be in a store that has at least a couple of employees that know at least something about hunting.
