What kind of gloves do you all use for picking up decoys? Ive been through many types of gloves and just cant seem to find any gloves that fit and are able to move your fingers and still be warm and dry. Ive tried neoprene, they are good for about a week then they are leaking on ya. Ive tried PVC coated but they are just to thick to wrap decoys and such. Does anybody know what kind of gloves the crab boat fisherman use?

Mittens, get those Ice fishing mittens that have that rubbery armor on them, they are cheap too, wool on the inside. No idea what their name is, all you gotta do is go into a fleet farm, or store like it, tell them you want cheap ice fishing mits and they should be there.
I have tried all sorts of expensive gloves, up to $130 leather snowmobiling gloves, and these cheapo ice fishing mittens give you plenty of room to move your fingers around, are tough, waterproof, and that is waterproof, I have them under water quite a bit, no soaking in or anything. They work and are reliable.
Now they aren't exactly surgeons gloves and can be tricky to try and wrap decoys with, but, they work good to keep the hands warm and that is priceless to me.

Tried every glove out there. Now just gut it out with no gloves until we are done. Then put my bright red fingers somewhere warm:eek::D Then into dry gloves. Got tired of wet gloves and trying to dry them out for the next day. Yes it can get pretty miserable, but that is why most people say " you waterfowlers are nuts!" I like being "nuts" :p

I have a pair of Cabela's Gore Tex Gloves that are awesome but don't take them off cause once you do they are near impossible to get back on with wet hands!

I normally don't use gloves; except for running the boat in cold weather. I just use the cheap rubber gauntlet style gloves.
I've tried the neoprene gauntlet ones, don't much care for them...

I found rubber ones that go almost up to your elbow that are lined with wool and fleece. They are the ticket. I think TSC sells them.
