So--a neighborhood cat got into our garage and upon cleaning out shells and corn stubble, etc... today, I just discovered that it had peed all over my blind. Just wondering what I can do/use to clean it and get the smell out. My biggest concern is damaging the material. My mom has some odor removing spray that she keeps in the house in the event that one of our animals has an accident on the carpet. Think this would work/be safe to use on my blind? Thanks for any and all help guys.

Fabreeze the SH*T outof it and hang it outside in a tree for a couple days to let it air itself out. Did you take care of the cat problem???

That's what I was initially thinking of using. No detergents or anything to actually wash it though?

You can buy some deer hunting detergent with no UV brightner and take to laundromat (don't use mamma's washer) and wash. Hang to air dry "I would you urine stuff first, then wash at laundromat.

Haha, while I appreciate all of the "shoot the cat" humor, thanks for all of the real suggestions guys. Unfortunately, my family is pretty close with the neighbor so I don't think KILLING the cat is a feasible option.

As long as you don't have any of your pets wandering around put some poison in a bowl w/cat treats :confused: I swear I don't know what happened it must of gotten into something it shouldn't have:D

I have found that cats are really attracted to cooked pizza rolls. Make yourself a very concealed blind then toss all of the pizza rolls out and wait for the cat. After about 5 to 10 min it will probably come in silently so you will have to be ready. But you will have to watch behind you so then it doesn't sneak up on you and scare you and it runs off. Then as soon as it steps out in shooting range. BAM Or you could just go to some store and find something to clean out the blind with. Either way hopefully this helps.

so what if it is your neighbor??? My neighbors cat kept coming to my house and pissing/shitting on my porch and I told him at least 7-8 times to keep his damn cat inside and finally I caught the little bastard in the act and blew his face off with my .357, yea the neighbor was pissed but oh well, I verbally warned him 8 times

Had the same problem a couple season ago but with decoys and cat urine all over the decoy bags. I had my partner carry those bags! Any way, just washed 'em off and they were good.
and............no more kitty!
