Thinking about getting a DM but I have never blown one. I was curious about the mouth piece. Its not the "normal" zink mouth piece and was wondering if the transition from the typical piece to the DM piece was difficult, or if blowing the call in general was uncomfortable. Thanks!

Your right, the mouthpiece is smaller and when I transition from XR-2 to the DM it takes a second or two to get my mouth adjusted. I find that it makes doing a feeder call a little bit more difficult(could be that my mouth needs to readjust) but hails and quacks are easy to get off without thinking too much about it.
Once the lips hit the mouthpiece the feel of it will get you in sync with the calling. It may take you a bit to get used to it but it shouldn't be that hard of a transition.

I would have to agree with what Mr. Contreras said. It does take a little bit of getting used to, but once you get comfortable with it, it's like any other call.

The Double Mag mouth piece is different but it is not uncomforable. I did not have much problem switching back and forth between this call and my PH-2 or XR-2.
