36 days and counting until this seasons opener up here in NE Alberta. I woke up last night dreaming about diver spreads. :D

I get roughly 6 weeks of summer up here, so when it hits I stay close to home.

Must be nice. We have early teal in September, but the big duck opener isn't until late October or early November.

It's a trade off. We are usually frozen or on our way to it by November and all the birds have pushed through.

I just had a dream last night i shot a banded honker with a neck collar...my dreams always get so odd during (just before) hunting season. I always wake up dissapointed!
