i would suggest a fowl attitude double reed. they are some great double reed calls. you can call him up at 601-408-3136. he has very good prices on wood and acrylic.

I would suggest Buck Gardner's Baby Buck. Great call for beginner or advanced caller. Cabelas has it on sale in their bargain cave right now for $20

You could look at the polycarb version which is alot less money.
