What is the most species of ducks you have shot in one day? This weekend we shot 6 species each day, with a total of 8 species. Mallards, spoonies, gadwall, gwt, bwt, ringneck, wigeon, and bufflehead.

this past weekend we shot mallards, spoonies, gw teal, wideons, gadwalls, bluebills, ringnecks, and buffleheads

so i guess 8 species is bout the most for me in a weekend

I think the most we've ever shot was either 8 or 9 different species of ducks but the hunt I remember the most we shot 11 species of birds, 8 species of ducks and 3 species of geese!
Ducks
Mallard, Pintail, Gadwall, Wigeon, Wood Duck, Shoveler, Blue-Wing, Green-Wing

Geese
Canada, Snow, Speck

Acutally would have been more because the canada's we shot was a mixture of Honkers and Lessers!

3 man limit consisting of 9 different species.

Mallards, wigeon, gadwall, greenwing teal, shoveler, wood duck, ringneck, lesser scaup, and canvasback.

Musky, a band is a band... at least where i am from... not many out here tho.
Only one band, off a Drake Mallard, he was too young to fly when banded in the same year, so just a young one :( like i said tho, still a band!! :)

This consisted of 4 duck limits plus one bonus goose. It also happened on opening day and for 2 of the guys it was their very first duck hunt. They got spoiled.:D
