Hi all, Just Trying to do my Homework a little early. A good friend From Illinois and Myself are wanting to make a trip to N. Dakota Next October and have Pretty much Figured out we want to be in Non Resident Zone 2, Just dont know where to start. My ?? To you guys is are there ample oppertunities there or should we be more concerned with another zone??

What are you after? I live in NR zone 2. Oppertunity is there, but depends on your timing and what your after. We have lots of small ponds that freeze the earliest, big lakes that stay open later(lots of divers), and a big muddy river that damn near stays open all year but there are closed zones on the big muddy (Missouri river). Ice is our worst enemy up here. It can set in over night. Timing is everything.
