Who else has the duck opener this weekend. things are opening up here in Oregon on the 11th, bird numbers are decent and there's plenty of water. good luck to anybody else who opens up on saturday.

I'll be hunting the regular season IA opener this weekend....the early opener was grea.....we shot our limits 3 days in a row....can't wait to get on that green!!!

Michigan opens up the 11th as well. I just moved up here from Kentucky a couple months ago so I'm excited about smokin' them greenheads up here.

I'm pure Iowan living in MN....can't make it to any more contests, so i'm hanin' up the routine 'til febuary...

going to try not and squeal this weekend when i'm meat talkin' to the greenheads... smile.gif

I just got home from the ill state...what a joke...I got lucky and blew 5 CLEAN and awsome routines on stage tho...first time in a long time i've done that. Tim grounds gave me a big confidence booster and im ready for the worlds. See ya in stuttgart or burlington

Hey Eric,

Great to see someone from Or on the site. Got out for the afternoon and bagged a MD with the first shot of the season. Looking forward to the opening of goose hunting on sat. Good Luck!

i'm originally from North Central IA...about 20 min from the MN border or so. I still hunt there all the time.....probably be there bowhunting this sat....

Our opener was October 1st.The first part of the season was slow.Not many blacks around.Ringnecks have saved my season so far.Whistlers and buffleheads have showed up the past week or so.Looks like I'll be looking towards the seaducks soon.

We had youth hunt opener this past weekend (northern La., east zone). We saw quite a few ducks for this time of year. Our real season opens this weekend. new camp this year. I can hardly wait until friday.Y'all send them on down here. :D

Opening on Thanksgiving morning here in Tennessee!!! Have plenty of ducks right now. Can't wait till then!!!

We open this Friday. Hope the rain keeps up until Thursday.
