In the northwest there are thousands of wigeon in the valleys of Oregon and Washington. Who here would like to see Fullbody wigeon for hunting flooded fields, flooded pastures or dry fields.

I would use them, but I would only want maybe a dozen if even that many. I think they would be big hits in certain places, but not sure if it would warrent making a mold. Probably have to sell them for a higher price, just to make the money back?
Of course you never know what Avery has up it's sleeve.

Why not just use the Standard GHG Wigeon, if in a flooded field you can use them the way they are or if the level of the water is to low to leave the keel on, just pull them off and your huntin :D

That's not a bad idea WW, just thought for the added realism to make some fullbodies, you could say the same for mallards in some situations. In my opinion i just think some fullbody wigeon would look great on the banks, in sheetwater, rye grass fields, winter wheat fields, etc. Do you ever have wigeon in sheetwater or moist fields where you hunt??

Yeah they love Flooded Lettuce Fields here especially after the lettuce has been harvested and the fields have had a disc run over them.

Dick,
I haven't had the luxury of the 2x6 mallard decoys  but I know of what you are refering to when you talk about the river. I haven't found that break away decoy as of yet, but I will keep lookin for it :D Wow a double on Drake Cans would be great if they would ever allow us more than one a day. Hell I have yet to shoot me a Bull Can :( Maybe next season. Good Ol Marine Corps sleeping bags OOO RAH !! S/F
