I am ready for September the first. Most of yall in the North will be hunting ducks and geese. But here where I am we are hunting doves and geese. My question is has anyone ever used a "Mojo" Dove. I picked one up the other day thought I would try it out. I have seen what they "have" done to ducks !!
My brother in law has one and for the last two years it has worked great . Get ready for some fast fun!

I don't have one but a friend of mine does and on labor day last year he and I limited out in 20 min using a Mojo. I was set up 50 yards away and I was ambushing doves headed toward him. It was the first time I've seen doves set their wings and come in like waterfowl.

I have the “D battery” flapper dove and it definitely does not sidetrack the birds. I also use a few decoys on dead tree limbs near the watering hole and a call. I’ve been dove hunting since 1973, and can’t think of a better way of spending September 1st; sharpening up on your shooting, being in the great outdoors, camaraderie with friends. The only other aspiration is early season goose hunting on the “X”!! Good luck hunting tomorrow.

Mojo Dove worked great this afternoon. Harvested a good number of doves.

We hunted over one this morning and I was not impressed at all. Didn't seem to make any difference at all. Could have been the overcast sky didn't really allow it to flash. If they worked like I have heard, I might have one but not if they work like the one did today.

I have used them for a couple years - they seem to work best in a situation where they can be visable from a distance - like a cut field or over or near a pond. I think they are the most effective when you use several at one time.
I have also painted several <they are cheap compared to the duck> and use them for ducks. They don't seem to mind the different body.
