A nice Teal Hunt

Today was the opener for Teal season here in southern Nebraska. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/huntnfish1725/85169cc2.jpg I have some better pics of the ducks but they are still on the camera. 11 ducks 7BW and 4GW for three guys in about 45 minutes. The shooting left something to be desired but it was pushing about 35 mph winds this morning. We definitely were at a disadvantage so it took a little longer than it needed to be.

Nich- I like the lanyard on the dog! That's awesome. Not a bad hunt either. I wish we had a Teal season. We shoot a ton in the regular season, but it would be fun to dump them early too.

My group hunted in central nebraska rainwater basin area last Saturday and Sunday of the teal opener. Little better water than last year but not much. Ended with our 5 man limit both days. Saturday about half bluewings and half greenwings and it took just over 15 minutes to fill out. Sunday took about 45 minutes to fill but about half were greenwings and half bluewings again. Tons and tons of teal and bigger ducks as well. Winds were just as Nick stated upwards of 30mph made shooting tough!

Make sure to post some pics of those teal. I only got to get after them one weekend...but thats ok since we ate them up tonight and boy oh boy were they GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!
