Today's hunt was 4th of the year and 1st on H20. Finally had the chance to use butt-up feeders....WOW! If there is a decent wind you guys will not need jerk cords. The wind was catching the tails this morning and just rocking them back and forth! Great size and great design. FB mallards and geese were set up on shore also.

Congrats on the 1st duck! That's good news on the butt ups too. I picked up a dozen and haven't put them on the water yet. When you say a breeze, do you mean 10-15, 5-10 mph, etc.?

Even at 5 mph they have motion, that day must have been up to 15-20 mph and they were swinging back and forth. I was going to use my H2O shakers but no need to.

Congrats on the hunt. The new GHG Over Sized Butt-Up Feeders are awesome looking with just a little wind. They were hot sellers at a show I attended this weekend in New Jersey. Post up some pictures of your next hunt.
