Here is a pic of our smaller diver spread. We had the new oversized cans in there, but they are in the dark area to the right. Next time I will get a better close up of them. You can tell it was a slow night with me taking pics of the decoys.

Beautiful photo. Did you have a panoramic setting on your camera or did you use some seamless editing software?

Rob,
I used both. I did not have my good camera out with me on this trip. I take my wife’s camera with me duck hunting sometimes. Cheaper if it ends up in the water, haha. It is just a 4 mega pixel Canon G2. Lets me take pics in a panoramic mode, but then I use Panorama Maker to put them all together. It is a good program if you start with a good series. The only thing I hate about the panoramic mode on the camera is it does not let me do much with the aperture and shutter speed settings. For that reason I like me D60 much more.

Tim,
Even with the limitations of some of the "point & shoot" digitals available today, it is incredible what they can do! Pair a camera and a computer with the vast selection of editing software on the market today and some great results are possible (your photograph being a great example.)
I took the following photo with my 4 year old Sony 3 MP digital and then played with some effects in a Roxio editing application. Nothing that should be in the Hirshorn but it illustrates the possibilities available with the use of editing software.
