do they neck band ducks,or put tarsus leg bands on them? just curious that would be pretty cool, if they did, the duck would stick out like a sore thumb

Some ducks get a taurus band when they are involved in studies. There are also some ducks that have nasal disks put on them for indetification. My friend shot a Goldeneye with them and didn't know it till we picked up the bird later. She is on his wall now and having spoken to the person doing the study she was 1 of 12 birds that were in the study. Talk about getting a longshot trophy!!
