The front of the truck. I still have to do a little bit over the fender to finish her off.

A close look at the front and the Avery Killer Weed that I used for the camo on the blind. This is only about half the camo that will be on the rig when its hunting. There is one kit on it in the pictures and another waiting to be put on it.

Chris, I want to accent the bottom of my truck the same way. Was it hard to put on and trim out?

Both the boat and the truck look great. I was thinking about getting a small kit for my pickup as well. Where did your order the Camo Clad from?

Looks good. I've been thinking about doing the same thing to my truck. I'm probably gonna put shadowgrass on it if I can find some. Was it very hard to do it yourself?

Chris, looks good. Now what other projects do you have planned for the rest of the summer?

To adress the Clad questions, I bought it through a freind that has connections there. He ordered me two sheets which is exactly what they do for the truck accent kits but it costs more precut. So I bought 2 5x4 sheets and cut them.
As far as the job itself. Its not something I would want to take on alone. I had help even then its probably a 7-8 out of 10 Its tough to get it straight and without alot of bubbles. I had a really tough time with the corners. Someone said a blow dryer helps with that. I would HIGHLY advise you use a spray bottle of water just as we described in the threads for putting decals on our trailers. You will have to move it around to get it smooth and straight. If you don't use water you are in trouble.

Mike,
These were the two major projects for this year the boat, obviously being the biggest.I am "changing the game" sort of speak with our geese and going to move more to water hunting them. I am working on a big floater rig to hunt them open water, out of layout boats, much like you see big water diver hunts. Therefore thats why the boat and blind doors are set up the way they are. It is actually a tender boat. So to answer you question.I need to finish the rack that goes inside my decoy trailer for my layout boats. It will stand the boats up on their side and keep them standing on edge against the side of the trailer. Put together a BUNCH of GHG floaters, add the drops with GHG clips and build mother lines for all of them. The little jobs that go along with all of that.
I am in the process of cleaning up my decoys from last year. I usually reflock tails and repaint the white on all my fullbodies/floaters every year. So I have to do that also.
Pretty much all the rest are just the "off season" jobs that need to get done. I am sure some of this will still beunfinished until the night before the opener.
I can remember a time when it seemed like an eterinity between seasons but every year it seems to get shorter and shorter, but I still enjoy it just the same.
