I was just wonderin what everybody thought of these decoys.i think they look awesome!i cracked open the change barrel and looks like i got just enought to get me some.what position heads should i get?i was thinkin about the feeders.i am only going to get six for right now so should it be feeders or the actives?

I would suggest the feeders if you plan on building a larger spread. In the spread I started building I have a 3 to 1 ratio of feeders to actives. If you are only going to have the 6, it will depend on where you'll be using them.

depends on what kind of hunting you are doing, if you hunt sandbars and ice edges I would go with 6 active you can run some without basis and have it look like a resting bird and leave a few basis on for movement.

I'm with T.A.G. on this one....what type of hunting are you planning for the FB mallards??? Fields, ice, pond edges, shallow water, etc.??? This will help everyone give you a better idea of what direction to head.

I will most likely be hunting fields but also around some puddles(less than a foot deep).i saw these decoys yesterday and they are sweet!i cant wait to get some!

If ytou are only getting six I would recommend the actives, might be a little more versatile for you and in stubble they should be more visible.
