Shotgun Choke Tubes [Archive] - Avery Outdoors Message Board

I was thinking about getting a choke-tube for my Browning Gold Hunter that would really knock-down geese. Last goose season, I think I had an improved cylinder or modified, i can't remember, but that didn't hit like I could have. What choke tube would you recommend??

i have had really good success with a light modified from briley. i noticed a dramatic decrease in cripples.

I personally use a Kick's mod. High Flyer in my SBE and it works really well, but I have tried the Patternmaster choke as well and it will really smoke the birds. I had trouble hitting with it, when the birds were in the decoys because it was so tight up close, so I bought JedJr's Kicks and now hit much better at all ranges from in the dekes to out to 45yds(as far as I'll shoot).
