View Full Version : motion stakes
Anyone that has a shell only spread has to get a couple of dozen of these things. They are simply awesome for the money. Has anyone got a easy fix to taking some of the motion out during high winds other than just sticking in further? We can get very high winds at times that will give use too much motion. I will say the motion stakes with shells are much quieter than our silos in 30 mile winds. This Great product has taken 5 dozen half shells out of retirement.

CS,
Thanks for the compliment on the Motion Stakes. Sorry but I honestly believe the best way to reduce the motion in high winds is to push the stakes in further so that the shell is allowed to travel only 1-2" forward and backward. I'm sure there are other ways, but this one is the fastest method and keeps you from having to alter the original design.
Thanks for the question. Send us some good hunting photos for the website!

Thanks for the quick response. Just like any decoy they all have there time and place. Just one more weapon for the arsenal.
