It's Almost Here

I don't know about the rest of you, but after a tough duck season, and some really nasty weather lately, I'm ready for turkey season. Due to the weather, scouting has been really frustrating. The few times I've been able to go out there have been rains the night before, and tracks have been hard to find. Fortunately, feathers tend to hang around for a while, and it appears that where there were birds last year, there are even more now.

How about it guys, has anyone been out looking, and if so are you finding anything?

With all the rain around here lately, I've been seeing some nice birds out in the fields. I haven't had a chance to get into the woods much though. Hopefully, I'll get to soon.

Still too darn cold to run around the woods looking for them up here. Hi's in the low teens and we got more snow. It has been a long winter and I'm ready for spring. If a couple of things go right. I'll be bow in hand and heading to NE to challenge the mighty Tom's of the prairie. I understand they are still bunched up down there and they are still in their winter patterns as well. Come on Spring!
