I currently own 5 dozen GHG duck decoys and 2 dozen full body GHG goose decoys. I have a dozen Big foot floaters. I have 2 pairs of waders. I have a John boat and a trolling motor. I have a 4X4 Pick up. My truck needs work, my decoys need painted and flocked, my trolling motor is broken, my john boat needs work, and my waders all leak. I LOVE IT!. THAT IS ALL A PART OF THE HOBBIE. THINGS NEED TO BE WORKED ON AND NEED UP KEEP. My decoys loose their paint because they rub on each other in the bag and because I throw them on the bank. My boat seats are loose because I am fat. My trolling motor is broken because I drive it through big chunks of ice. I have to reflock my big foot heads because it is just felty stuff on plastic heads. I throw them in the water. What do I expect? When my gun jams it is my fault. My decoy bags rip because I fill them with too many decoys and catch them on things. I can't help it . I love to hunt and I can't stop buying more GHG decoys. Basically what I am trying to say here is that I make the majority of my problems myself. I thank god for Avery. They make products for me that make my hunting experience fun, successful, comfortable, and many other things. They also provide great service to me as a customers. It seems to me that they are hunters who try to help other hunters. Thank you Avery. I say good day.

Great post. This is how I "stored" my floaters all season. Not exactly taking great care of them, but they held up great all season. I'll give ya one guess where the duck decoy's are!!!! I already miss the smell of the marsh. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/travismueller1/november4th002.jpg

I guess that is why they wrote that book last year titled, "Misery Loves Company". Who in the world would want to wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning to put on muddy clothes from the day before, set out decoys in freezing temeratures, maybe see a bird or two or a thousand, pull the trigger a few times, and then drink a cup of coffee while your lab brings back a mallard? I know I would! I love this thing called waterfowling and there is no doubt about it, Avery is the leader in making each of these hunts more memorable. I can't wait to get after them in the morning!

Good Hunting!

There is nothing like seeing the sun rise as you are still trying to get the decoy lines untangled from the prop and your lab is jumping around in the boat looking at the birds flying over. You mutter under your breath that this is not worth it, BUT finally the rig is set and a nice drake sets into the rig and you make a nice shot and the dog does what he does best. All problems are forgotten and we can't wait to do it all again soon...
WATERFOWLING what a great illness to have I hope they never discover a cure !!! tongue.gif
