Just bought four of the 6-slot decoy bags for the new GHG FB Mallard decoys I plan to get my mitts on as soon as they are available this summer :cool: My question is; on the package it is described, “Use Quick-Release Straps To Convert Two Bags Into a Poncho Carrier. What is this, how do you convert the bag into a "Poncho" carrier, man :confused:

Goose Flocker,

You connect the ABT shoulder straps by inserting the buckle into one of the connections on 1 bag and then instead of inserting the other connection on the same bag take it across and connect it to your other bag. Repeat this process with the other strap. Then the straps lay over your shoulders while one bag is lying in front of you and the other is on your back. This is a great feature for walk-in hunts!

GooseFlocker- This works out pretty slick. I know you bought it for field decoys, but try that 12 slot for ducks. The speed at which you can set out your spread when using them is awesome. Because you don't have to unwind line off the keels (it's kept in a seperate sleeve) you can just grab the decoy and toss. When we hunt from a boat this year, I will have a majority of my decoys in a 12 slot just to save time.
Just a tip though- do what Rob posted a few times and get everything adjusted before opening day, so you are not scrambling to get it done in the dark having never done it.

Thanks, for the info and pictures. Now all I need are the FB Mallard dekes and I'll be good to go. smile.gif

Another option that you can look at is the 6 slot goose decoy bag. You can fit a dozen of the FB mallards in this bag. Just an option.

The 6 slot goose bag is the best goose decoy bag on the market for carrying and protecting fullbodys PERIOD!
