I know Avery product will be available soon in Quebec.... Don't ask how I know ;) But today I got news from a fellow hunter who saw them for sale in a shop for 266 Can $ for 6. That's 229 US$ for 6 snow geese full body decoys. I'm thinking this does'nt make any sense. I know shipping is costly but WOW !! I was planning on buying a 10 dozen set up but that would now cost me 5200 Can $(4470 US$) taxes included... I'm thinking it's a little pricey ( or I'll order from Cabela's) and am pretty bummed out. Who can I verify if these are the actual selling prices with ?

Boy, I would think Rick may know. Rick?

I don't know what account has them for this price. There are a lot of variables that determine the price. If the store bought them from our warehouse in the US, they have to pay freight, duties, VAT, etc. All these things add up. We are working with a couple distributors to be able to ship directly from our factories. With this process, the price is a lot better.

Thanks,

Cabela's has these instock. As Rick said we are working shipping to dealers outside the US.

Thanks for your post,

Eric

Mat, That's not a surprise. I'm in Western Canada and tried to buy some of the Hot Buy mallards last fall from a local company. They are $70.00 a dozen plus shipping. I can get them from Cabelas for less than $20.00 US. Even with shipping and the conversion I can have them to my door for less than $50.00 Cdn. Boy the idea of direct shipping from the factory for the boys up north would be a huge help. Then again, I would just end up buying more decoys. Not really saving any money.... just getting more decoys!!!

Wow, 48 dozen! There's times when I run 48 decoys and think I've got a good sized spread out.

Curt you are absolutely correct. But trailer would argue with you though!! My FB Mallards just came in this week and now I have to try and get them in the trailer. I guess its a good problem to have!!!!

Hey Alta, it only cost you $20 in shipping to get decoys up here? Everywhere I have talked to you are looking at $60 for 6 to get them up here.
