and it worked like a charm. We started cinching the geese by the legs, right above the "knee" joint. It was especially effective when we had to carry geese out of the field and some of those geese had their neck's wrung by heavy-handed people like myself.

This is a great way to get your geese ot of the field. Do you like the way that the GameHog Strap fits on your shoulder? Would you make any changes to it? Let us know so we can keep offering the best in products.

Guys,
First off I really like the Gamehog and I truly believe in hanging the birds by their feet even if the necks are just fine. However, if I could change it in just one little way I would make the rings just a shade smaller in diameter. Other than that I absolutely love the GameHogs other characteristics.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will keep that in mind. The Gamehog strap is awesome, I have used it to hold as many as 15 ducks on it this season. We had to put 2 and sometimes 3 ducks in each single drop.

Hanging them by the feet is the real deal. It keeps the bodies from banging into your legs as you walk. This is more noticeable with geese.
Thanks,

I still cant make myself hang them by the feet. It must be a southern thing.. tongue.gif We like to hang em by the neck! :D
As far as the gamehog, mine has been heavily used this year and it has worked very well. Great product!.

Yeah I love mine as well. I remember when I used to throw those ducks and geese in a five gallon bucket and struggle the whole way back!

It is a great strap that can hold all the birds you can legally shoot. Another neat thing about this strap and carrying birds by the feet is that you can still take a bird to the taxidermist after being transported in this manner.
