Alright Guys,
We need your help and suggestions in designing our Slot Decoy Bags. As you probably know we made a 12-Slot™ Decoy Bag (http://www.averyoutdoors.com/decoy.html#12slot) for the 2003 season. The dimensions on this particular bag were as follows
36" length x 18" height (6" x 6" Pockets).

There has been requests to make additional size bags, maybe a 10-Slot or 6-Slot. But what we are looking for now is the "Perfect Slot Size" for the pockets.

Some of the feedback we have received was that the slots were too big, others said they were too small. Here is our first reader's poll to help us identify the "Perfect Slot Size" for the pockets on these types of decoy bags.

Thanks for your help! We will continue to ask questions to better our products. So you feedback is extremely important and very much appreciated.

Regards,
Jason

Jason,
I would go with the 8x8x17. I have a bunch of E Allens as well as a bunch of corks. My corks are a bit smaller than the E Allens. The E Allens are oversized. I have one E Allen that would be hard to fit in the 8x8x17. It is rather large, since it's a real high head.
As far as any of this goes, you could make three different sizes. Teal size, 8x8x17, and then a larger size for mags and geese.
I voted for the 8x8x17 since that is what I would buy.
I have already suggested to Tom what I would like to see in a slot bag.
I also believe 4,6, and 10 slots would be the way to go. Actually instead of 4 slot bag a 3 slot bag would be pretty nice too. I know alot of guys run different species in sets of threes(two drakes and a hen).

Versitility is what I look for in alot of gear.

also how about a 24 slot bag that you wear as a poncho like the silo holder 12 up front 12 on the back, I'd make each slot big enough to hold the oversived dekes at least
