The other night I had some of my japanese exchange student friends come over. I was in my room looking at the goose and duck hunting pics on the internet. I was on one of the pics and my japanese friends walk in and the hunters were knelt down around a bunch of GHG decoys. Kiyoshi just happened to see and says  "Well why dont they shoot those & why dont they fly away" and it took me about 15 minutes to explain to him what decoys were and what they did. I also showed him some more pics of other decoys and he said that GHG's were much better. He liked the pics and wants me to take him hunting now. I guess you guys are starting to impress other countries too.

Andrew,
It is very hard to explain what hunting is to people from other countries. Most of them don't have hunting where they live. I consider myself very lucky to live in the USA and have the freedom we have.
Thanks,

Andrew,
I have heard many stories of people thinking that our GHG decoys are the real thing. We are extremely lucky to have the huntign privileges that we do. Thanks for the post.

We are very fortunate that we are able to hunt here in the US. As you are well aware, not many other countries give that opportunity to there citizens. I feel truly blessed!

I have an exchange student living with me from Italy. He did the same exact thing when he looked at my hunting pictures. I get a kick out of it everytime I think about the look on his face when I explained what the full bodies were actually used for. If we can trick a smart Italian, we can trick the weariest of geese and ducks.
Good Hunting!

whats even better is when you have a photography class and you need a nice and upclose shot, screw the real thing, GHG fools em fine. "How did you get so close" :D

It's not just Japanese. I showed some pictures of any early season goose hunt to a girl I work with and she asked me why I didn't shoot the other ones in the background. She didn't believe it when I told her they were decoys.
