Hey there, a while back I had suggested that you guys put a bird band on the 2005 DIY Lanyards and some of you guys said it was a good idea and it would be passed on to production. I am just wondering if this idea has developed into any solid plans yet? Are you guys going to put bird bands on the lanyards? or did the idea get tossed? Just wondering, thanks.

Brad,
As of right no it is not being produced because it takes time to produce a band with Avery logo info on it. But you may see this in the future. It was a good idea and I am sure you may see it in 2006. Thanks for checking up.

Brad,
What Eric is trying to say is that the bands and lanyards are produced in two different factories. We ordered our first 1,000 of each. I don't think the bands were ready in time.
Thanks,

Thanks guys, that is totally understandable. I will just have to shoot more bands. My dealer said that he will be making an Avery order in a few weeks. If I order a lanyard from him then, will it be a 2004 or 2005 lanyard? Is there really noticable differences between the two? Should I wait?

Brad,
What would you want the band to read? Would you just want "AVERY" printed on it or is there anything else you would like to see on it? I think this is a great idea and you will see them on the shelves next season. Thank you for your interest in the Avery and Greenhead Gear line of products.

I think the band would add a nice touch. It is a good idea. Thanks for the input.

The Avery logo or better still the GHG logo on the band would be sweet.

Chad, I was thinking the band could read...
Avery Outdoors, Inc.
Memphis Tennessee 38182
1-800-333-5119
www.averyoutdoors.com (http://www.averyoutdoors.com)
Or another option is for the band to read "Genuine Avery Product" This way it is like a symbol of authenticity. You could make a goose band for the thicker lanyards, and a duck band or a snow goose band for the thinner lanyards. Heck, you could produce them seperately, then people could just buy the bands and throw them on their full body geese, the new full body mallards, key chains, zippers on their pit bags, or where ever people want to show off the Avery name. Just an idea.

To really set the band off and make it unique, it would be cool to see it in another color, such as green like the reward bands.
