I sure would like to see Avery come out with a true feeder-style goose shell (with the head in the anatomically correct position for standing feeders) in addition to the current sitting/resting position shells. They would work great on your motion stakes.

Is this a possibility?

One of the main purposes of the shell decoys is for economy. If we try to do a feeder shell, the cost will increase. It is hard enough keeping the cost down with the way gas prices have risen in the last year. (The plastic is a petroleum by-product.) I don't use the feeder heads with my shells. I have all sleeper and resting heads. We will have an all sleeper head pack for 2005.

Rick, I'm glad to hear your coming out with a feeder pack for the shells. I'd sure like to add a few more feeders to my spread in the early season and the simplest and most economical way is to switch the rester and sleepers over to feeder heads. You made my day with this info. Thanks Rich and Avery.

Rick, Guess I read through your above post to quickly. I know it was brought up on the forum a couple months back about the availability of feeder heads for the GHG shells. Has Avery considered offering a feeder head pack similar to the sleeper head pack now available for use with the shells?

To tell you the truth, we haven't seen enough movement thru dealers on accessory heads. You will probably see accessory heads available thru the Avery Pro Shop on our new website.

Accidently hit Add Reply. Our new website is not set to roll out until sometime this Spring. We have hired a new webmaster and he is working on perfecting it. He is making changes to the existing site, so be watching it for changes and story updates.

Thanks,

I know we have been talking it up the past few months, but it will be well worth the wait. Very instructional as well as enjoyable.
