I would have to say my Avery fullbody decoys. Without the realism that the decoys provide me it would be a heck of a lot harder to get the birds to work.

As of now, I would have to say a tie between my pitbag and my floating guncase. I hunt alot of really muddy areas, and these items keep my gun, to my calls clean, dry and in working order.

But if you look at all the products Avery makes, they all have their place/job and are important to each person who uses them in their hunting.Avery products work as hard as the hunters who use em.

Truly great products period! Cant wait to see the lineup for 05!!

I could not pick one product because on each hunt there is always that one product that makes the hunt that much better. The product changes from hunt to hunt. The one thing I can tell you is that all Avery/GHG products are great because Avery/GHG listen to their customers feedback. This allows Avery/GHG to produce the best hunting equipment available today.

That's a really tough question. Almost like asking a parent which child is their favorite... Not just because of any emotional attachment we may have to the products. But because each one is designed to fill a specific need of the serious waterfowler. With that said, I don't know if I could do with out the laydown blinds and decoys that Avery/GHG produce. But there are so many other Avery products that I use on every trip that in all honesty, I can't imagine hunting without. It will be interesting to hear what everyone else comes up with because all of the products have become my favorite.

I will echo the sentiment of the Pro-Staffers and their replies. If you look at the Pro-Staff Hunting Journal Entries Category on this same Message Board you will see the list of "Equipment Used" heading in those entries. Those lists are not all identical because every hunt is different but if you go through some of them you will find that there are allot of the same products being used across the board. Those products, if not personal favorites, are definately most likely allot of hunters go-to products.

Goosekiller,
I do believe that you have just asked the toughest question I have seen on these message boards. Impossible to pick just one, absolutely frickin' impossible. Since reading your post I have sat here for 20 minutes pondering an answer. Maybe breking it down to a favorite decoy, accessory, or clothing item? Even then it would be tough.

Serious as can be, and I am not just saying this cuz I am a Pro-Staffer, we as waterfowlers have been spoiled by Avery and GHG in the past few years, and the good news fellas....it's only just begining.

That may be the toughest question ever asked on the message boards.

Each hunt is different and requires different gear. It would be immpossible for me to pick out just 10 much less one.

Fleece calling gloves. Just jokin Rob. They are great, but I cannot pick just one either. Gun case, pit bag, neck gaitor is way up there, but probably the underrated mud bag. This bag is awesome for waders, boots, neo tubs, you name it. Impossible to pick one.

The Power Hunter. This blind has allowed me to get on more birds than ever imagined.

Good Hunting!

I would agree with duckdebander...ALL OF THEM!!!

Finsher blinds, floating blind bag, mud case, floating gun case, Greenhead Gear decoys, shell belt, wading vest...these are a few Avery products that I own and use - and I would say that almost all of them make the trip on each hunt.

NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM!!!!!

Great question BUT how in the world do you answer it. Trying to think of one product is so tough. What would I do without my Floating Gun Case, Pit Bag, Finisher Blind, Neoprene Dog Vest...the list goes on and on. I hunt so many different situations and use so many different products. I can't think of one product that isn't a "must have" in certain circumstances. I just couldn't pick one...

The Turtle Head has got to be right up there especially in this late season cold weather, pit bag, full bodies, the list goes on...

Mmmm...lets see. My favorites are my floating gun case, pit bag, square bottom decoy bag, turtle head, power hunter and finisher blinds. I have some more Avery stuff, but those are probably my favorite off the top of my head. Used some Green Head gear full body canada dekes this year and I'm really liking those so far too.

Hard to pick just one favorite!!!

Finisher, floating gun case, power belt, field bag, ankle garters, and even cell phone case are all top notch!

I gotta say the decoys. Close your eyes and pick one. All the other products are great but NO ONE can argue that the last 2 yrs of Avery decoys haven't SINGLE HANDEDLY changed the decoy industry for good.

BTW as an aside, why doens't Avery go to the SHOT show? Just curious.

I love my finisher blind. I would have to say it was one of the best investments this year. I have had the best huning in it. I can't wait to get it back out this summer again.
