I was woundering if anyone knew of anyplace I could get some fully flocked decoys. I know cabelas had the backordered until October. I was woundering if you guys knew of anyother place to get these. And how much they going to set me back, I think they were 199 in cabelas, and also fo those who have used them, are they worth an extra 70 dollars. Also since they are the same price at Hardcores which would you rather have?

The FFDs are a Cabela's exclusive for the 2004-2005 season.

I have hunted over the Fully Flocked GHG Full Body Decoys. They are definitely worth the price and the wait. I will post a picture of one below. Pictures do not do them justice. You need to see them in person. http://img42.exs.cx/img42/3189/dsc005830ks.jpg

Fallin Sky's,

Cabela's is the only place you can purchase them this year. Give them a call they can get them out to you asap. Price is 199.99. And to answer your question. Yes I do think that they are worth the extra 70$. It has been a few years since I have seen birds finish to decoys as good as they have this year. We have been trying to take plenty of photo's and we are landing flock after flock, the thing is these birds are landing and going right to feeding. They are not looking around and wonerding whats wrong with this picture. Do not get me wrong. We have landed many groups in the standard GHG FB, but they are always on edge after they land. I have noticed a big change in what they do and how relaxed they are around the Fully Flocked decoys. Thanks for the post. Give Cabela's a call they will help you out.

I have hunted over the new FFDs this entire season. There is a big difference between these and regular plastic decoys. There is no shine with these what so ever. I have pics of live geese standing in them and I can really not tell the difference between the live birds and the FFDs. They are definitly worth the extra $70 per dozen. Give them a shot and let us know what you think.

Good Hunting!

The Fully flocked full bodies in my opinion are the most realistic decoy on the market. The flocking makes that much difference. I would call Cabelas; they should have some in stock.

Thanks,
