B. Jenkins,

As of right now there are no plans for any changes to the Finisher Dog Blind. Pick one up you will enjoy it. I personally do not have a dog but two of my good buddies use theirs all the time.
Thanks for the post.

Where I hunt in Southeast Missouri, most of our pits have dog hides built in. For the ones that don't, I use the Finisher Dog Blind by sitting it just outside the pit on the end I will be hunting. It is absolutely imperative in my opinion. With the Finisher, you can be calling at ducks instead of standing outside the pit blowing a whistle giving casts. Without it, the dog would be in the pit and every retrieve would be a blind...not much fun for the dog or your hunting buddies either...

I will NOT hunt in a field without our dog blind. He loves it and so do I. I never worry about him out in the open and he looks forward to getting into it. I have no problems with mine and it has been in cornfields as well as sheet water. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/travismueller1/Canada041.jpg

Who say's that they never get tired. This was the last day of a two week stint in North Dakota and Canada. He was ready to go home. I really can't say that I was though. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/travismueller1/CanadaPics248.jpg

Travis- I doubt he was ready to go home! He was just pacing himself. Those blinds are slick. I will be getting one more this year so we can have both dogs if we want out there.

My dog figures if the old man can sleep in his blind, then she can sleep in hers.

Great photos guys! I recommend anyone that hunts a laydown blind to pick one of these up. I know of a few guys that put their dogs in the blind with them. Sure it adds warmth to the blind and saves some money but if the dog is not properly trained (or even the best trained dog still gets excited) you lose all control over your hunting environment. If the dog would brake or bump you when you come up to shot anything can happen. This is the best and safest way to have your dog with you in the field.
