POWER HUNTER ???'s

im thinking of buying one of these and have a couple of questions:

1: how wet/damp of ground will the material hold up to.

2:is the floor padded.

im planning on the field khaki, sounds like the best value.

any suggestions, ive never owned a ground blind before so any input would be great.

Thanks,JGJG, The powerhunter is very low profile, and is lightweight and the material IMO is designed for ''dryfield'' hunting.
I think you could hunt some damp/slightly soft areas, but any fields holding water, I would recommend the Finisher.
The floor is not padded, but the recline seat/and headrest is.
IMO, If you are looking for a blind that can handle it all, Get the Finisher. It folds up compact as well, gives you fullsize blind room and has accessories like the neo tub, that lets you hunt in up to 8 inches of standing water /mud, etc.

You can hunt in sticky mud without any problems. You really can't hunt is standing water with the Power Hunter. You can do this with a Finisher or Migrator if you use a NeoTub. The seat is padded for your comfort. We do not pad the whole floor because it is not cost effect and it doesn't have any benefit to you.

The power Hunter is my favorite blind for packing in or when a low profile is needed. I really like being able to see 360 degrees and call without having the face or hands exposed.

I've used the PH in some pretty wet fields and never had a problem. If you plan to hunt fields with standing water or none of the above are concerns I would go with what others have suggested, a finisher with the NeoTub.

IMO field khaki is the best blind pattern. It allows you to blend in to a variety of fields / conditions with killer weed or natural grasses.

I've been using PowerHunters for about 2 1/2 seasons and I really like them...I too have used them in some pretty mushy field conditions without a problem as well as snow...but again, just as was stated by everyone else....if your need something for standing water you would definately want to go another route...

When i 1st. got the power hunters everyone thought i was going with the cheapest route, now all my buddies have them they're the best blind on the market for many reasons,1st.there invisable.2nd.you can see all around you 360 degrees.3rd. You can turn to see over your back with out the birds seeing you.4th. And every bunch of guys i know has atleast one guy who just can't sit still or stay down.5th.foam mats work real nice in the bottoms,nice if the ground is cold.Khaki is perfect,most of us use some natural vegatation anyway.TRY ONE AND YOU'LL LOVE IT...

The others have answered your questions, I would like one thing, of ALL the laydown blinds on the market, I chose the Khaki PowerHunter as my absolute first blind of choice, regardless of price...

It is the least expensive blind on the market, which is a bonus, but like I said, regardless of price, it is my favourite for sure...

The Power Hunter is my favorite blind in almost any situation. The only time I do not use it is heavy rain or standing water. I use the Finisher in those two situations just because the Finisher keeps me more protected and dry when used with a NeoTub.

The PowerHunter is the deal when you have to pack in. You'll be fine in mud but as the others said...if you are hunting in standing water, go with a Finisher and Neotub.
