I heard something about a bag being made specifically for the full body mallards. Is this true(hopefully) cuz I've got to get 5 of them and am wonedering how soon they'll be out if there is in fact a full body mallard bag that is going to be made. Will it just be bigger than the 12-slot decoy bag now? Thanks. Dakota Kid

DK, From what I've read, a new FB bag for the duck decoys will be in the works, but I'm sure it won't be released until next year as part of the 06 product line.

Dakota,

We are going to make a 12-slot bag that is just for full body mallards. We are going to make the slots about a 1/2 inch bigger along with some other changes. It will be a 2006 item.

Thanks,

Like Rick said, it will be a product for next year. For now, you can use the 12-slot duck bag...If you rotate feeders and actives you can fit a dozen in a bag. Little tight but they'll fit.

You can just say they are a tight fit!

It is tight for a dozen, but as CC said, you can fit a dozen in there.

If you are worried about them being too tight, the 6 slot snow goose bags are a perfect fit and they have the end pockets to put the stakes in!

I never thought about the 6-slot snow goose bags, but I guess I just don't want to have 10 6-slot bags. Thanks for the advice though. If I had fewer I would definately do that. Dakota Kid

How about putting a loop at each outside end of the bag so that you could attach a carabiner to carry the ringed based if needed.

Would possibly help elminate some of the jingling as well.

This idea could be utilized on the snowgoose bags as well and with this bag already having a pocket for the stakes, you would now be ready for anything with bases and stakes with you.

Jed,
I didn't mean to steal your idea. I like the velcro. I just thought with a carbiner you could just clip on and go.

FB mallard bags would be nice.. The 6 and 12 slot bags are just a bit too tight. They work just fine for the time being though....
