Not sure there is enough market to justify this, but how about a mini umbrella/blind to hide video camera? Something that could attach to a tri-pod or be a free standing unit that holds the camera and protects/hides it on rainy hunts. In our group, everyone wants to pull the trigger, so we always have to put the camera on a tri-pod and start/stop it with a remote.

With many more people having camcorders these days, might be a chance for Average Joe to film thier hunts w/o risking screwing up the camera from rain, while allowing a means to hide it as well.

I was thinking a mini Finisher dog blind with a false floor to keep the camera off the ground.

I currently use an old G&H shell on a long stake, and it works OK, unless you get a side wind.

That's a good idea but I just don't know if the market would be there. It's awful easy to take an old camo t-shirt and put it over the camera with a little KillerWeed attached to it. Let's see what everyone else thinks.

But a camo T-shirt won't protect the camera from getting wet on rainy/snowy days.....

where do you place the camera? Behind you with a wide veiw?

Yes, behind me (10-15 yards) and I use a wide angle lens....still working out the details of the wireless remote. I would prefer a wired remot, but haven't come accross on with a long cord. Anyone know where I can get a long remote cord for a Panasonic Camcorder?
