We had out 246 Snow, Blue and Speck fullbodies and shells . Starting to see more snows and blues, but not as many juveniles as I would like. No wind, and cloudy in the early morning and horrible shooting on the Specks produced only 3 Specks and 1 Eaglehead. More birds arriving daily, if we get the right weather, the hunting should really get good.

Decoys look fantastic, the only thing that would concern me is the different color of the layout blinds, they seem a lot lighter in color than the soil. Trying to hide in that type of field is tough. If you have the time and the warm weather you would want to mud that blind right there in the field. Tough gig though with no stubble to cover the blinds up in. I thought hiding in a pea field was tough.
Thanks for the pictures Jed..

Reg, that's my brother's Finisher in MAX4 with dry mud/dirt already on it. I had a ''FK'' Finisher down alittle from it and it was a perfect match. The FK blends really well in this field. This is why I own FK and Shadowgrass Finishers.
It is a tough hide, we could stack decoys around us more, but just didn't do it. The green grass is starting to slowly come up in there, so we are making our winterwheat killerweed clips now. Hopefully once the field has some green it it, the other blinds will conceal better.
I will get some pic's this weekend of my FK Finisher in the field. A really good hide!

JED,
That is tough stuff to hide in. We have even dug down as deep as we could to put the Finisher's just above the ground and then fill the hole's in when we were finished hunting. This takes some time, but really cuts down the profile of the blind (if digging is an option).

Jed, Cooksey said that they had some good flights of geese moving all day today really high. You guy's might pick up some birds soon.

Jed, nice pictures. That is some tough stuff to hide in. Your decoy spread looks great. I am sure you will be getting some new birds soon.

Jed,
Thanks for posting the pictures. The decoys really stand out in a field like that.

No we had out 36 GHG fullbody Specks in that pic with a GHG fullbody and shell spread with afew G&H shells that I have owned for years.
We went to our lease in one truck and I did not have any room for them that trip. We had a pickup loaded down and a 5 x 12 utility trailer packed tight.
I do hate to leave them at home though.. ;)
