This brings up an iteresting topic.

How many of you can get away with hunting on the actual Thanksgiving Day? I get to do a little pheasant hunting in the morning. She said, "You will be back by 11 AM and spend the rest of the day with the family."

Happy Thanksgiving to all.Rick, I normally hunt on Thanksgiving, But My Wife and I both lost our Mom's last year 7/04 and 10/04, so a re-focus of family priorities was in order. The last two Thanksgiving's have been no hunting and strictly family.
I do miss my Thanksgiving Goose hunt, But surely would give it all up to have my Mom back..

If you need me I will be in my treestand all day Thursday. My phone will be in my truck!!!

Tomorrow morning I am doing some goose hunting. Then I am stuffing myself in the evening :D

Get to take my dad on a goose hunt tomorrow. It's funny how thing change. I remember being a kid tagging along and my first goose. Now I'm taking him on my lease over my rig. Feels good to give something back and enjoy a holiday morning in the field with my dad. Hope everyone has a good holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I will be out there in the morning looking for either a moose with my bow or some grouse. I will flip a coin tonight to decide. After that I will string some decoys for the salt I am leaving for the day after :D . And somewhere in between I will eat some turkey.
