fit in the 6-slot duck bags? Looking to switch all my decoys from Herter's to GHG and have all these 6-slot bags, trying to decide whether to go with over-size or life-size.

All of the Over-Size series floating duck decoys will fit in our slotted bags. As I am sure you already know, the Over-Size goose floaters will not. They need to be put in a 6-slot full body bag. On a lot of the Life-Size series, you can fit two decoys in each slot.
Thanks,

There is no better way to keep the decoys in good shape than the slotted bags. The over-size decoys fit nicely as Rick said. When boat hunting the slotted bags are the way to go when it comes to organization and ease of carry. There are some guides in California that keep 3-4 of the 12 slot bags in each of their boats just for that reason.

We are currently using the 6-slot Fullbody goose bag for all of our GHG Canada Floaters. I believe it is the best way to transport them.

Those 12-slots are the deal. They keep any decoy looking great, and also keep the boat organized. If you have them in the water picking up, just make sure you lift the bag up out of the water for a few seconds before you put it into the boat. Let that excess water drain out of the bottom.

As I found out in North Dakota, the Slotted Decoy bags are the way to go for ease of transportation, decoy protection, and overall organization.

I am just trying to decide what size to buy....I have traditionally used a magnum or over-sized decoy (i.e. Herter's Model 72's)....so I would like to stay in the over-size world, but really like all the species in the life size series...I'll just ponder this for a while and see what you guys have up your sleeve for 2006...I have plenty of other decoys to hunt over for the time being....
