New poster to this board in need of suggestions.
When I got my Finisher last season, I also got the snow-cover. What have you guys done to minimize or to get rid of the UV glare from your cover. I've talked with Zink and he stated that this glare was a problem with every snow cover on the market. That UV-killer spray had been tried
with minimal results amd subsequently, the snow spray was developed. Now I know that several major retailers are still offering the snow covers for the Finisher, but no warning about the UV-problem. I guess, I'm just wondering if after one spends the bucks to get the custom snow cover for the blind, is there anything else you guys have done aside from buying spray-can snow?

Fred is correct that UV is a challenge with any snow cover. When the Avery snow cover was developed several materials were tested and the cotten that was picked showed the best results. One thing I have done to my covers to help to eliminate some more glare as well as add to the camo effect. I lightly spray gray primer paint in subtle "squiggle" patterns, and when I say Lightly I mean lightly, contrast is good a totally grey cover wont help the cause. I live and hunt in norhtern MN and we hunt in snow alot I have had good succes with my covers even on sunny days. Hope it helps!
