I am having some problems with the neoprene boots. They dont seem to fit right. Have yall found anything that i can add to the to help them fit better.

This is the first problem I have had with an Avery product.

Thanks
TLM

Dear TXLABMAN,

I appreciate where you are coming from, but the first thing I have to ask is if you are sure you purchased the correct size boots for your dog's feet? If so, then I don't have any "quick-fix" answers - sorry.

We have not had any significant problems with the fit on our Neoprene Dog Boots as long as the size chart is followed. Please check to make sure that your dog's feet are correctly matched to the boots. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Keep in mind that we offer these boots in 6 sizes so that we can match almost any dog's feet.

If the size checks out, then I suggest you wrap the hook & loop strap around each boot tightly (but not so tight that it cuts off circulation) and then check where the boots are loose. You can do this by pinching several areas much like a shoe salesman might do when checking shoe fit on a customer.

To correctly wrap the strap, make sure you overlap the two pieces of neoprene that make up the boot's upright and then wrap the strap in an upward spiral all the way to the top of the upright.

Please let me know if this helps or if you are still having trouble. I may need for you to take some digital photos and e-mail them to me to make sure you have the right boot size. If you don't, please don't worry because we'll trade them out with you even if they are used - we can use them on one of our dogs I'm sure! We just want you to be happy with the product like thousands of other Dog Boot users have been. There is no way we would let these little things be the first Avery product you are not happy with! Let me know what you come up with.

Tom

Tom,

Thanks for the fast reply. I will check the size in the morning to make sure it is perfect and if not send them back to you; I could be off a half inch. The boots have not been in any serious conditions (Ran around the yard) so they are not torn up at all. Thank you for letting me send them in to get the correct fit if necessary.

Thanks
TBLM
