Before I pull the trigger and order these, I thought I'd ask this:

Do the bags fit Avery Life Size blocks? I can't wait to get them; I'm tired of dealing with paint damage and line tangles caused by mesh bags. Your decoys are way too nice and deserve better. smile.gif

Bob, welcome to the Avery forum. Yes, the 12 slot bag does fit the GHG line of duck decoys. There has been nothing but good reviews about the 12 slot bag. I am sure it will serve you well.
Good luck to you this season, and thanks for choosing Avery/GHG!

Jed is exactly right, this is a great bag. I just used one this past week in North Dakaota and it worked great. As a matter of fact, on the smaller species, wigeon, gadwalls, etc... you can actually fit more than twelve. Welcome to the board and please feel free to ask more questions.

Thanks,

The 12-slot bag is awesome. It fits my biggest duck decoys with ease!

Bob,

I put 24 life-size mallards in the 12-slot decoy bag. I put the first one in with the head down and the second one in with the head up. Make sure that both backs are against each other if you do it this way to get the best fit. The 12-slot decoy bag will also hold one of each of our Over-Size Mallards in each slot.

Thanks,

Thumbs up on the lifesize and the 12 slot bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been running four bags in my boat all season with great success. In a small boat I can max out the prescious space with a well organized system. The decoys are protected and are out the way between the seats when traveling. The bags also snap together well when you want to haul them into a pothole for some impromptu wader hunting.

Rick is right. We used these bags all of last week in Canada and it is easy to get 24 L/S mallards into them. they do not bang together at all and the bags are easy to carry. We also used them for the new over-sized pintails and they were perfect. The sprigs point straight up in the air with no chance of becoming tangled in a regular decoy bag. These bags will be the choice of most waterfowl hunters very soon.

Good Hunting!

Thank you all for the great information! I received two bags from Cabela's and I'm extremely impressed!
