Pickd up a finisher this year and well it stay clean for a while but now its been in 3 bean feilds after a week of heavy rain. PRetty much its caked in dirt in mud.

Whats the best way to clean the inside out?

Lorne,

I would hang up your Finisher with the BootBag down and unzip the BootBag. Hose out the dirt in your Finisher. Let the blind hang and dry completely before you fold up your blind. This will prevent the growth of mildew. Plus there is nothing worse than crawling into a cold/damp blind in the morning.

Lorne,

Over the past couple of seasons, I've had good success using an air compressor and also a leaf blower to clean up my blinds.

One other thing I recommend is after a wet or muddy hunt to open up your blind in a garage or shed and then position an oscillating fan so that it blows onto the blind. By doing so, you will be able to quickly dry your blind and then be able to put it away dry, which will extend its life span.

You can make book on Rusty Hallock's method of cleaning out the inside of a Finisher because when it comes to "mudding" the inside of a Finisher, Rusty is in a league of his own.

Mike...good idea about the fan (oscillating is a nice word also).

Word of the day...oscillate.

"I went to McDonalds for lunch today. I ate a Big Mac, fries, and 20 chicken McNuggets. Oh yeah......I oscillate a double quarter pounder with cheese.

Hehehe

Mike gets 50 brownie points for using a complicated word in a sentence. Man, from now on dumb it up for us unintelligent folks. I don't wanna have Webster sitting here next to me just so I can understand these posts.

If it happens to take us hours on end to attempt to facilitate the usefullness of the vocabulary utilized in the posts then the time we have wasted on the internet will not have acheived its potential justification.

I let the mud in my blinds dry. After it dries, I unhook the headrest. I turn the blind upside down, grab the boot bag, and shake everything to the opening. Turn the blind over and everything is laying on the ground. The blind is clean and ready for the next hunt or storage.
